FAQs

Who is this conference for?

It is for everyone! Whether you are growing personally in your walk with the Lord, you are discipling another person, or you are a pastor interested in a discipleship ministry – Disciple Conf is for all.

Are there any big-name speakers at this conference?

No celebrities here. We want to feature pastors and leaders that are actually making disciples and equipping their people to do the same. Typically, they are from the Living Faith Fellowship.

How much does it cost?

Admission is absolutely free! From our church to yours, we want to be a blessing and encourage you to make disciples. We have dinner in the evenings before the service for $5/person.

Where can I stay if I'm visting?

We offer host homes, if you’d like to stay with another family from our church, or you can book a room at a local hotel.

The Hampton Inn (5 minutes away) is offering a room rate of $120/night if you book by February 23.  Just mention Oakland Heights Baptist Disciple Conf when you make your reservation.

Will there be childcare for families?

Yes! For evening worship services we will have trained and equipped believers ministering to children 0-5th grade.

Morning sessions will have an overflow room available for family use.

Is there anything else to do in Cartersville?

Absolutely. Cartersville has 3 family-friendly museums (Booth, Tellus, Savoy), several coffee shops, dozens of restaurants, and multiple parks.

Which sessions should I attend?

You are welcome to attend any of the sessions. If you are new we highly suggest our ‘Foundations’ track, as it will lay the foundation of our philosophy of personal discipleship.

How do I buy conference merch?

Shirts and other items will be available for purchase at the conference. For a limited time(closes Feb 26) you can customize your shirt design via pre-order at sewtothespirit.com/dc2025. Ordered merch will be picked up at conference.
